This unfortunate campaign ad for Dick Durbin exemplifies the plague that is incumbancy. Spend a long enough time in the Senate, and it becomes unnecessary to run an actual reelection campaign. Just scan an old high school yearbook photo into photoshop, drop some lens flare, and voilà! INSTA-CAMPAIGN!!!
